MICRO: Hall of Fame

Professor Won Woo Ro and his research team presented papers on GPU, CPU, NPU, and Memory system at the International Symposium on Microarchitecture (MICRO). Professor Won Woo Ro joined the MICRO Hall of Fame by publishing a total of 8 papers.

ISCA: Hall of Fame

Professor Won Woo Ro and his research team presented a paper on processing recommendation systems in heterogeneous memory,  "SPACE: Locality-Aware Processing in Heterogeneous Memory for Personalized Recommendations",  at IEEE/ACM 48th International Symposium on Computer Architecture (ISCA 2021).  Professor Won Woo Ro joined the ISCA Hall of Fame by publishing a total of 8 papers.


Alumni

Ipoom Jeong is employed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Systems Semiconductor Engineering at Yonsei University. Ipoom Jeong received a Ph.D degree from Embedded Systems and Computer Architecture Lab (Professor Won Woo Ro) in 2020. After Ph.D degree, he worked for Memory Division, Samsung Electronics. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Dr. Yunho Oh is employed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Korea University. Dr. Yunho Oh received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Yonsei University in 2002 and 2009, respectively. After working as a software engineer at Samsung Electronics, Dr. Yunho Oh received his Ph.D. degree in Embedded Systems and Computer Architecture Lab (Professor Won Woo Ro) at Yonsei University. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

Myung Kuk Yoon is employed as Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering department at Ewha Womans University. Yoon, Myung Kuk received a Ph.D degree from Embedded Systems and Computer Architecture Lab (Professor Won Woo Ro) in 2018. After Ph.D degree, he worked for Mobile Communications Business and Network Business, Samsung Electronics.
